👋 About Me
Hi! I am Xiaohui Luo, a PhD candidate in Psychological Statistics and Psychometrics at Beijing Normal University (BNU). I am supervised by Prof. Hongyun Liu at the Dynamic Modeling & Assessment in Psychology (DyMAP) Lab.
In 2026, I am conducting a one-year research visit at the University of Groningen under the guidance of Prof. Laura Bringmann in the LaBlab.
My research aims to bridge methodological innovation, AI and machine learning, and precision behavioral health. My work spans three pillars: advancing statistical methods for intensive longitudinal data, integrating machine learning and LLMs into dynamic analysis frameworks, and translating these methods into clinical-health and developmental psychology applications. 🌟 Recent Highlights
2026
- ✍️ Mar 6, 2026 — First-authored paper accepted in Psychometrika. This work develops a bias-correction method via stochastic approximation for two-stage estimation in differential equation models (likely the most technically demanding project of my PhD journey so far). I am deeply grateful to Prof. Hongyun Liu, Prof. Yueqin Hu, and Prof. Yang Liu for their dedicated mentorship, which was instrumental in helping me navigate the complexities of this work and bring it to life.
